Research activities have shown: there is a measurable coherence betwenn the aesthetics of a program and the perceived user experience. True to the motto “What is beautiful, will also be good” an aesthetically pleasing designed user interface implies a high user friendliness (“Usability”). Thereby the user interface plays a pivotal role: It opens up access to the functionality of an app and not uncommonly from the users perspective, is automatically put on a level with the application: An outdated user interface will (thereby) result in a negative perception.
